So the front of my house brings me great sorrow. I wanted a pond and a Japanese Maple but mosquitoes like ponds and I don't like them and Japanese Maples run about $500 and seeing we won't be here for that long, we settled for this...hostas, veronica, lavender, and this random ground cover.
The front bed of the house has left me in a confused bother because I can't decide what to do, lilly of the valley fairy garden? contemporary mix of colors and heights? herbs? butterfly garden? I just couldn't decide so I opted for a practical venture...melons, cucumbers, peppers and tomoatoes. Pay no attention to the stump in the middle of it all, it is coming out.
