Happy New Year

So it happened...our 1st annual New Year's Eve Party! (unless someone else has one next year and then this will have just been a party) We had quite the spread curtesy of everyone who came. We had some of this (which is not legal in Montgomery County but that didn't stop them)

as the countdown approached we headed downstairs and waiting for the 10..9..8.

and the minute it became 1/1/11, it also became Melissa's birthday so we switched from the kissing to singing Happy Birthday

You know it was a good party when you wake up to this....

well almost no alcohol was consumed, this was a necessary ingredient in the fondue but no worries I let it simmer way longer than recommended just to make sure no one go tipsy or consumed alcohol. I had to dump it out just incase I ever got serious about my whole,

"I need a beer" moments.
